For electrical contractors

Website builder for electricians

Homeowners only let an electrician near their panel once they trust them. Describe your electrical business in one sentence and Atlas builds a site that earns that trust fast: your license up front, the work you do, where you work and an easy way to reach you.

Why it matters

What people check before they call an electrician

Electrical work is the job homeowners are most nervous to hire for. Before they call, they look for a license, the kind of work you take on, like a panel upgrade, a generator hookup, an EV charger or a few new outlets, and whether you work in their part of town. In storm and lightning season they also want to know who can wire in a generator before the next outage. Make those answers easy to find and the call gets easier.

The must-haves

What an electrician's website has to do

Six things that help a careful homeowner pick up the phone. Atlas drafts each one from your sentence, and you fill in what only you know.

Your license, front and center

For electrical work, the license is the first thing careful customers check. In Florida, an electrical contractor's number starts with EC, and the state's license search lets anyone look you up. Florida law also asks for the number on your advertising, websites included.

Florida's license search

How Atlas handles it: Tell Atlas your EC number and where you want it, in the header or the footer, and it adds it.

A call button for urgent problems

A breaker that keeps tripping, a burning smell or half the house without power can't wait for an email. Put a call button where a phone visitor sees it first.

How Atlas handles it: Give Atlas your number, now or later, and it becomes a tap-to-call button. Until then you see a placeholder, never a made-up number.

Where you work

Say which cities and neighborhoods you cover, like Tampa, Brandon and Riverview. It saves both of you a phone call when someone is outside your area.

How Atlas handles it: Put your area in your sentence and Atlas writes it in. Update it later by asking.

Photos of clean work

A tidy panel, neat conduit runs, a finished lighting job: electricians get judged on neatness. Your own photos show it better than any description.

How Atlas handles it: Your gallery is saved for your real photos; Atlas never fills it with stock images.

A quote request form

Bigger jobs like a panel swap or a generator install usually start with a quote request. A short form lets people describe the job and send it when it suits them, even after hours.

How Atlas handles it: Every site has a working request form; requests reach your email and your Atlas inbox.

Reviews from real customers

People read reviews closely before they let someone work on their wiring. Real words from past customers carry more weight than any badge.

How Atlas handles it: Atlas never writes reviews. It leaves a marked placeholder until you add real ones.

The jobs you want more of

Panel upgrades, generator hookups and transfer switches, EV chargers, recessed lighting, surge protection: list the work you want, not everything you could do. Specific services bring calls about the right jobs.

How Atlas handles it: Name them in your sentence and Atlas turns them into your services. Ask to reorder, rename or add one anytime.

Example

One sentence, one website

This is the kind of sentence an owner types, and the first screen Atlas builds from it.

The sentence
“Brightvane Electric, a residential electrician in Tampa, FL: panel upgrades, generator hookups, EV chargers and lighting for homes in Tampa, Brandon and Riverview, with written quotes for every job.”

A made-up business for this example, not a real company.

How it works

Three steps to your site

  1. Describe your business

One sentence with your main services, your area and what customers should know, like “bilingual” or “written quotes”.

  2. See it before you pay

Atlas builds the whole site from that sentence and shows it to you free. Nothing goes live until you publish.

  3. Add your license and photos

Ask the editor to add your EC number, your real phone and a few job photos. Publish when you're happy with it.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can Atlas add my electrical license number?

Yes, the number you give it. Ask the editor to add it to the header or the footer. Atlas doesn't make up license numbers; it uses yours.

Does Florida require my license number on my website?

Florida law (section 489.521 of the Florida Statutes) says a contractor's certification or registration number must be stated in each advertisement, regardless of medium. A website is advertising, so show it where people can see it. If you're unsure about your case, ask the state licensing board.

Can my site list generator and EV charger work?

Yes. List the services you offer in your sentence and Atlas writes them into your site. You can add, remove or reorder services later by asking.

How do customers reach me from the site?

With your call button, and with a request form whose messages go to your email and your Atlas inbox. You answer them yourself.

Can my electrician site be in English and Spanish?

Yes. Your site can be in English, Spanish or both, and the request form follows the site's language.

What does it cost?
